(Eagle News) — A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte early Tuesday, July 19.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 2:04 a.m.

The epicenter was 66 kilometers northeast of Burgos.

The depth of focus was one kilometer.

PHIVOLCS said the earthquake was tectonic in origin.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
