(Eagle News)–A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Sunday, Jan. 22.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake was an aftershock of the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that hit offshore Davao Occidental on January 18.
The aftershock struck 330 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.
The quake hit at 4:06 a.m.
The depth of focus was 60 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
