(Eagle News)–A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Tuesday, Oct. 10.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:16 a.m.
The epicenter was 292 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.
The depth of focus was 40 kilometers.
There were no aftershocks nor damage to property, PHIVOLCS said.
