4.8-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental waters

(Eagle News)– A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Friday, May 7.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 3:43 p.m.

It had its epicenter 326 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.

The depth of focus was 74 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
