(Eagle News) — A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 5:52 p.m.
Its epicenter was 306 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos.
The depth of focus was 72 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
