4.9-magnitude strikes off Davao Occidental early Saturday, July 31

(Eagle News) — A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Saturday, July 31.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at 1:52 a.m.

It had its epicenter 304 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.

The depth of focus was 191 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
