(Eagle News)–Four people were killed in clashes between two Moro clans in North Cotabato over the weekend.
The police said the two fatalities in the skirmishes that started in Barangay Kidama on Saturday night and ended on Sunday in Barangay Marbel were members of the Moro National Liberation Front.
The other two were members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
Authorities said the clashes were the result of “rido,” and broke out after the brother of Commander Manial of the MNLF was killed by the group of Commander Manzor of the MILF.
The clashes prompted several families to go to safer ground.
