(Eagle News) — A magnitude-5.1 earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Sunday.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 36 kilometers northeast of Burgos at 10:32 p.m.
The depth of focus of the quake was 14 kilometers.
An Intensity IV was felt in Burgos, Pilar, and Dapa in Surigao del Norte, while an Intensity III was felt in Dinagat and San Jose in the Dinagat Islands.
An Intensity II was felt in Surigao City and Socorro.
No damage was reported.
