(Eagle News) — A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Batanes on Saturday, Feb. 12.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 8:41 a.m.
It had its epicenter 45 kilometers southwest of Sabtang.
The depth of focus was 61 kilometers.
No damage to property was reported but aftershocks are expected.
