(Eagle News)–A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Sunday, December 3.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake that hit at 4:52 a.m. was an aftershock of the 7.4-magnitude quake that hit the province on Saturday evening.
The aftershock’s epicenter was 62 kilometers northeast of Hinatuan.

Intensity II – City of Surigao, Surigao del Norte
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
