(Eagle News) — A 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Monday, Feb. 8.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 8 a.m., had its epicenter 211 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso.
It had a depth of 44 kilometers.

No damage to property was expected but aftershocks were.
