(Eagle News)–A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao de Oro early Friday, Oct. 20.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:58 a.m.
The epicenter was 35 kilometers southeast of New Bataan.
The depth of focus, meanwhile, was 13 kilometers.
