(Eagle News) — A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Tuesday, April 19.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 9:23 a.m.
The epicenter was 54 kilometers southeast of Manay.
The depth of focus was 49 kilometers.
The following intensities were reported:
Intensity II – Bansalan, Davao del Sur
Damage to property and aftershocks were expected.
