6.7-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental early Tuesday

(Eagle News)–A 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Tuesday, Jan. 9.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:48 a.m.
The epicenter was 183 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 94 kilometers.
