An earthquake measuring 6.9 magnitudes on Wednesday evening rocked the Malaku provincial capital of Ambon, Indonesia. According to the U.S. Geological survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 111 kilometers southeast of Ambon.
The USGS reported that the earthquake hitting at a depth of 33.9 kilometers. According to officials there was no damage and causalities reported from the quake.
