(Eagle News)–Sixty-seven more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19.
The Philippine National Police said with the additional recoveries, the total rose to 6730.
Thirty-five new cases pushed the total to 7255.
Of these, the PNP said 502 were active.
No additional death was reported, which means the death toll remains at 23.
The police continue to man checkpoints and enforce laws amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
This makes them one of the country’s frontliners exposed to the risk of COVID-19, which has so far affected over 383,000 in the country.
The PNP has vowed to ensure the protection of policemen, inking an agreement with the Makati Medical Center for their medical services.
