MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — Seven out of some 20 world leaders will arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday, November 12, to attend the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Meetings in Manila.
According to reports, these seven foreign leaders who will arrive in the country aboard their official aircraft are US President Donald Trump, Premier Li Keqiang of China, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, President Moon Jae-in of South Korea, President Ram Nath Kovind of India, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, and President Halimah Yacob of Singapore.
Other foreign heads of state will arrive at the Clark International Airport in Pampanga.
The Philippines is set to host the 31st ASEAN Summit in Manila and Clark in Pampanga on Nov. 11 to 14.
The Philippines is the chair of ASEAN for 2017.
The theme of ASEAN this year is “Partnering for Change, Engaging The World.”
