METRO Manila, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has advised motorists against using several roads in the metropolis starting Friday.
In a statement on Tuesday, the MMDA said the Department of Public Works and Highways would undertake reblocking and repairs on the southbound lane of Edsa, from P. Tuazon to North Road; and the southbound lane of C.P. Garcia, from Katipunan Ave. to Ma. Regidor St.; starting 10 p.m.
MMDA Chair Emerson Carlos advised motorists to take alternate routes until the areas become fully passable by 5 a.m., Monday.
Carlos said it was DPWH-National Capital Region Director Melvin Navarro who recommended the areas’ reblocking and repair.
