Republic Act (RA) No. 10625, otherwise known as the “Philippine Statistical Act of 2013,” which was passed on 12 September 2013, states that the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) shall prepare and conduct periodic censuses on population, housing, agriculture, fisheries,business, industry, and other sectors of the economy.
