Dayan moved to new safe house

(Eagle News)– The Pangasinan police has transferred Ronnie Dayan, the former driver and bodyguard of Senator Leila De Lima, to a new safe house after suspicious persons were spotted roaming near his former custody area.

Pangasinan Police Chief Sr. Supt. Ronald Lee confirmed the transfer of Dayan from his original safe house to a new one.

Authorities were still uncertain when Dayan would be turned over to the Department of Justice’s Witness Protection Program (DOJ-WPP) in Manila.

Dayan has started living at the first safe house when he was placed under protective custody of the Philippine National Police.

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa assured the safety of Dayan while the House probe on the proliferation of illegal drugs at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) continues.
