QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES (January 21) – Eagle Broadcasting Corporation, through its Eagle News Service, gave viewers around the globe a special live coverage of the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
Entitled “The 45th US President: Inauguration of President Donald Trump”, EBC, through its various news bureaus and correspondents based in the United States of America gave its viewers an intimate look at the US presidential inauguration. From the activities prior to the inauguration, to the arrival of the VIP’s and other guests and culminating with President Trump’s inaugural speech, EBC delivered a full and unbiased coverage of such a historic event.
EBC’s Washington D.C. Studio led the special coverage with EBC’s US-based anchors Sarah Nacman and Blane Brooks.
The live coverage was aired in EBC’s TV broadcasting arm – NET 25. It was also available to the online community through EBC’s news web portal, www.eaglenews.ph. The special live coverage also extended to the social media, especially the micro-blogging site, Twitter, where it made use of the hashtag #EBCTrumpOath.
EBC’s special live coverage started at 12 midnight until 2 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 (Manila time) or at 12 noon on January 20, 2017 (U.S. time).
