QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — In an interview in Net 25’s Agila Balita Alas Dose, Governor Sol Matugas of Surigao Del Norte gives an update on the situation in Surigao city after a magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck the city.
The governor appealed to the public, asking for potable water to be given to their province. She said that aftershocks continue to be felt in the province, the latest of which was at 3 a.m. Monday. She also said that there are now eight fatalities in the quake-hit province.
