(Eagle News) – Presidential daughter and Davao City mayor Sara Duterte and presidential son, Davao City vice-mayor Paolo Duterte, flatly denied allegations made by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on their alleged illegally acquired bank accounts.

Mayor Sara Dutetre, in a statement, flatly denied she has P121 million presently or that her bank accounts were illegal as claimed by the senator. If Trillanes can prove it, she said, he can get them all and she would give it to everybody.

Vice-mayor Paolo, however, was more blunt in his statement, calling the senator “ugok” (rotten) and saying that “something is very very wrong with his mind.” He also dared the senator to resign saying he had long lost his credibility.

Both Sara and Paolo issued a statement Thursday denying Trillanes’ claims on their alleged illegal weath.

“If Trillanes can show where my alleged P121 million is right now and how it became illegal, kunin natin at ibigay ko sa inyo lahat,” Duterte-Carpio said in a statement reaction to Trillanes’ latest allegations.

Before that, Trillanes claimed in a press briefing at the Senate that President Rodrigo Duterte had bank accounts held jointly with his children amounting to P2.2 billion – a claim that the President had also pointedly denied.

Sara said she would let her father answer Trillanes’ allegations.

Lets us allow PRD to decide on how he wants this issue to go down,” she said in her statement issued on Thursday.

She added that she is just being true to herself and to the public and that she was not hiding anything.

“Wala akong postura labas sa kung ano ang nakikita ng lahat,” she said.

In his statement, Davao City Vice-mayor Paolo Duterte said if Trillanes can prove his claim, he would donate the millions of pesos to the survivors of the magnitude 6.7 quake in Surigao province.

“If this senator, whose name is not worth mentioning, could prove that I have those millions in the said bank accounts, then I will give them all to the victims of the earthquake in Surigao,” he said.

The young Duterte also urged senator to resign, saying he was “useless” and had long lost his credibility.

“Kung gusto mo magresign Senator Ugok, magresign ka na. Huwag ka na madami pang dahilan. You are a useless senator and the people of the Philippines no longer believe you,” he said.

“You can rot in hell for all we care!” Paolo added.

He also recalled that Trillanes at one point accused him of being a drug addict, an allegation that he said he had failed to prove.

“This ‘ugok’ senator is again throwing wild accusations against President Rodrigo Duterte and dinamay pa nya kaming mga anak sa kanyang kagaguhan,” the Davao City vice-mayor said.

“He earlier accused me of being a drug user and when I had proven that I am not, now he accuses me of having millions in questionable wealth,” he added.

“From drug test and now bank test. If I may suggest for him to take a psychiatric test as something is very very wrong with his mind,” he continued.
