(Eagle News)– Four members of the Liberal Party (LP) in the House of Representatives have transferred to President Rodrigo Duterte’s party.
Bataan Rep. Geraldine Roman, Lanao del Sur Rep. Ansaruddin Adiong, North Cotabato Rep. Nancy Catamco, and Quezon City Rep. Alfred Vargas’ move will further strengthen the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan’s membership base to more than 90 in the Lower House.
The LP solons’ move leaves LP with only 28 members in the House, a number far from its membership of more than a hundred during the previous administration.
