Puerto Princesa volunteer groups formed to safeguard tourist destinations

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Residents of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan have formed volunteer groups to safeguard tourist destinations in the city.

This is in light of the advisories issued by the United States of America and United Kingdom cautioning their citizens against visiting the province reportedly due to threat from the Abu Sayyaf.

The volunteer groups are focusing on the vicinity of the underground river.
