Stockton, United States (Reuters) – A large fire at a wood pallet yard in Stockton, California, was threatening some homes and gutted several vehicles in a residential neighborhood on Thursday (May 25).
Aerial video from the local NBC News affiliate showed portions of the pallet yard ablaze as fire crews worked to battle the fire which burned adjacent to a residential neighborhood.
The affiliate said the four-alarm fire prompted some evacuations in downtown Stockton and thick plumes of smoke could be seen for miles.
