QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The transport group Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operators Nationwide (PISTON) said it would conduct more widespread and intensive transport strikes if government will push through with its plans to phase out old public utility jeeps.
PISTON is of the opinion that such plans are anti-poor and that the government should instead help the PUJ industry.
