CALIFORNIA, United States (Reuters) – Firefighters continue to battle an explosive wildfire Sunday (April 17) which blackened more than 500 acres just hours after it ripped through Castaic Lake in California, according to NBC News.

NBC reported that no structures were immediately threatened by the fires.

Castaic Lake is in the Sierra Pelona Mountains of northwestern Los Angeles County, California.
