QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – Malacañang on Tuesday, August 29 happily welcomed the high ratings given to President Rodrigo Duterte by consulting firm Publicus Asia, Inc.
In a recent survey conducted by the firm, President Duterte was hailed as “most loving official” and “most decisive official” in the country.
“We are gratified that 90 percent of Filipinos considered the President as the most decisive and caring government official based on the nationwide survey by Publicus Asia,” said Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella, commenting on the recent survey.
“The results affirm the very high trust approval and satisfaction ratings of the President in other surveys. The pulse also affirm[s] the hard work and responsiveness of the government and its key officials in serving our people,” the Palace official added.
Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar cited President Duterte’s action when he immediately returned to the Philippines from his state visit in Russia after hearing of the Marawi Crisis.
Andanar also cited President Duterte’s bravery when he visited Marawi City three times as well as going to Pampanga to eat poultry products during the bird flu outbreak.
President Duterte received a 90% rating from the survey for decisiveness.
The result was based on the survey that studied 1,500 respondents from key cities nationwide from August 7 to 9.
