QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — United States Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will attend the East Asia Summit next month, standing in for US President Donald Trump.
President Trump will however attend the gala dinner for the 50th anniversary of the Association of South East Asian Nation (ASEAN) on November 12.
Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano said that President Trump will also attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Vietnam also in November.
