(Eagle News) — Isko Moreno has resigned as chief executive officer of the North Luzon Railways Corp.

In his resignation letter dated Oct. 27 and submitted to President Rodrigo Duterte, Moreno, whose real name is Francisco Domagoso, said he was resigning as member of the Board of Directors and as chairman of the NLRC for personal reasons.

Moreno said his resignation was “effective immediately.”

“I am truly honored and deeply grateful for the opportunity to have served your administration,” he said.

“The experience I have gained is indeed enriching and has taught me valuable knowledge about the dynamics of national government, specifically running a government-owned and -controlled corporation,” he added.
