(Eagle News) — Senators have established that Horacio Castillo III set foot in the Pacific Star building in Makati where the DivinaLaw office was located before he died.
Their conclusion was based on footage from closed-circuit television camera in the vicinity submitted to the Senate.
In the footage shown on Monday’s hearing, a man wearing a blue jacket and black pants was seen.
Castillo’s parents confirmed the man was their son, based on the blue jacket he was wearing, which they said was a gift they gave their son.
But University of Sto. Tomas Faculty of Civil Law dean Nilo Divina adamantly denied he saw Castillo in his law office.
He said there were “one to three” law firms in the building.
