(Eagle News) — Senator Panfilo Lacson on Monday floated the possibility Marc Ventura, who has been provisionally admitted to the Witness Protection Program, was a “Trojan Horse.”

“Baka planted ito. Sabi niya di siya master initiator. Kung titignan mo documents, siya ang master initiator. It’s just a thought. So you should expand itong cinocover niyo (to that),” he told Prosecutor General Jorge Catalan  during the Senate hearing on Monday.

According to Catalan, they have not yet received a testimony from Ventura.

He said Ventura “was provisionally admitted on Oct 24.”

“Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre left for the US the day after. Possibly tomorrow we will be having a meeting on this issue,” Catalan said.

Told about Lacson’s comment, Ventura said: “I’m not an angel. I’m not a saint. I’m here to tell the truth. Only a few good men can tell the truth.”
