(Eagle News) — Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea has designated an acting executive secretary from December 27 to December 31.

Medialdea appointed Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Menardo Guevarra to the position on those dates as he said he would be “on personal leave.”

“Whereas to ensure continuity of government service, it is necessary to designate an acting executive secretary to take care of the day-to-day operations in the Office of the President and assist the President in the general administration of the executive department,” Medialdea said in Special Order No. 1163.

He said “all departments, agencies and instrumentalities of the government shall assist the acting executive secretary in the discharge of his functions as stated herein.”
