PSA to implement additional charges on birth certificates, other documents

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Philippine Statistic Authority, formerly the National Statistics Office, will implement additional charges on those who will get official documents like birth certificates.

According to the PSA, this is because of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN law.

Starting on February 2, 2018, there will be a Php 15 additional charge on every document which means that birth certificates will cost you Php 155 from the previous Php 140 per document application, while the certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR) will now cost Php 210 from Php 195.
