PHL, Japan start fourth dialogue for “Build, Build, Build” program

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — The fourth dialogue between Philippine and Japan officials for the “Build, Build, Build” program has started.

The dialogue was led by Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez and Dr. Hiroto Izumi, Special Adviser to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

The Philippine government first signed a 15.93 billion yen (approx. $142 million) loan agreement with Japan International Cooperation Agency for a project that aims to mitigate flooding in several areas in Cavite.

The first dialogue was held in Tokyo in March 2017.
