Duterte awards house and lot to PMA top graduate

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday awarded a house and lot to the top graduate of the Philippine Military Academy’s Alab Tala Class of 2018.

First Class Jaywardene Galilea Hontoria, who was also the class baron and recipient of awards that include the Presidential Saber,  Chief of Staff Saber, among others, received the certificate of ownership during the class’ graduation rites in Baguio.

This is reportedly the first time a PMA valedictorian received a house and lot.

Hontoria, who hails from Iloilo, bested 281 class graduates.
