NCRPO director sacks Caloocan police chief, two station commanders from Manila, QC

(Eagle News) — The National Capital Region Police Office has sacked the Caloocan police chief and two station commanders from Manila and Quezon City.

NCRPO director Oscar Albayalde said Senior Supt. Jemar Modequillo was relieved as head of the Caloocan Police over “unsolved series of incidents in his area.”

Also relieved, Albayalde said, were Manila Police District Station 11 commander Supt. Amante Daro and Quezon City Police District Station 10 commander Supt. Christian dela Cruz.

Daro was commander when a shooting incident inside a shopping mall in Divisoria, Manila took place on March 3, while Dela Cruz was relieved “for having a filthy station,” Albayalde said.

Dela Cruz’s relief came days after Philippine National Police Chief Ronald dela Rosa berated two of his men from after he found garbage piled in front of their headquarters on Friday.
