(Eagle News) –Seventy percent of Filipinos are satisfied with President Rodrigo Duterte’s performance, according to a latest survey of the Social Weather Stations.
The pollster said that the figure translates to a net satisfaction rating of +56, which is 2 points below the very good +58 in December 2017.
The new rating of +56 is classified by the SWS as very good.
Based on the results of the survey done from March 23 to 27, 17% were undecided, while 14% were dissatisfied with the President’s performance.
According to the SWS, the President’s net satisfaction rating was at +65 in the Visayas, or a very good; at +82 in Mindanao, or an excellent; at +39 in Balance Luzon or a good; and at +54 in Metro Manila, or a very good.
President Duterte’s net satisfaction rating in the urban and rural areas were both a very good, both at +56.
His net rating was at +63 among members of Class ABC, still a very good; at +57 among members of Class D, also a very good; and at +48 among members of Class E, classified as a good.
The survet was done using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults nationwide: 300 each in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Sampling error margins were pegged at ±3% for national percentages, and ±6% each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
