Comelec: No poll hitches in Metro Manila so far

(Eagle News)–The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday, May 14, said there were no reports of poll hitches in Metro Manila so far.

“But we are continuing to monitor all of the other places,” Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez said in a press briefing at the Comelec command center in Manila.

According to Jimenez, so far, in Maguindanao, “we are good.”

All polling centers were also open in Basilan and Sulu.

As for Regions 1, Caraga Autonomous Region, 3, 4-A 4-B, 6, 7 and 8, and others, Jimenez said the reports are “still coming in.”
