UPDATED: PNP reshuffles key posts; Eleazar now NCRPO director

Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde on Friday, June 1, implemented a reshuffle of key posts in the police force.

Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar is replacing Chief Supt. Camilo Cascolan at the helm of the National Capital Region Police Office.

Cascolan has been assigned to the Civil Security Group, while Chief Supt. Edward Carranza of the Cordillera region police office will replace Eleazar at the helm of the Calabarzon police office.

Police Director Federico Dulay of the CSG has been transferred to the Office of the Chief PNP.

Chief Supt. Rolando Nana from the NCRPO will replace Carranza at the helm of the Cordillera region police office.

Chief Supt. Rolando Anduyan from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao police office is now assigned in the NCR.

Senior Supt. Roberto Fajardo was assigned to replace Chief Supt. Arnel Escobal at the  PNP Highway Patrol Group.

This was after Escobal was appointed as the new chief of the directorial staff of the NCRPO.

From Region 6, Chief Supt. Cesar Binag was transferred to head the Directorate for Information Communication and Technology Management.

PNP public information head Chief Supt. John Bulalacao, for his part, was appointed as director of PNP Region 6.

His post will be filled by Senior Supt. Benigno Durana, who was assigned at the  Police Holding and Accounting Unit or PHAU in Camp Crame.

The order for the reassignment was also signed by Chief Supt. Lyndon Cubos, PNP director for personnel and records management.
