JUST IN: Senate suspends work today, July 17

Work in the Senate has been cancelled due to continuous rains.

Senator Gregorio Honasan, officer in charge of the Senate, employees were told to go home because of flooded areas.

The scheduled hearing by the Senate committee on constitutional amendments on the draft federal constitution has also been cancelled.

The bicameral conference committee has yet to say if the vote on the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law will push through today.
