(Eagle News) — No storms are expected in the country in the next two to three days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Friday, Aug. 3.

Although the low pressure area PAGASA monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility is not expected to enter PAR, the weather bureau said  the southwest monsoon will continue to affect the Southern Luzon area, and a large portion of Visayas and Mindanao.

Cloudy to scattered rainshowers are expected in Mindoro and Palawan, and in Western Visayas and the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao on Friday.

The rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will experience generally hot temperatures except for isolated thunderstorms in the evening or in the afternoon.
