Trillanes following Makati court’s decision to have him arrested: “Officially, wala na tayong demokrasya”

Senator says he will post P200,000 bail today

(Eagle News) — “Officially, wala na tayong demokrasya.”

This was the reaction of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, following a Makati court’s order to have him arrested and have a hold departure order issued against him on Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Judge Elmo Alameda of the Makati RTC Branch 150, where Trillanes was charged with rebellion, set bail for the senator at P200,000.

Trillanes said he would post bail today.
