Isolated light rains to prevail in parts of Luzon, Visayas as northeast monsoon affects both island groups

Partly cloudy skies to prevail in Metro Manila, southern Luzon

(Eagle News)–Isolated light rains will prevail today over parts of Luzon and the Visayas, as the northeast monsoon affects the two island groups, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

In its advisory, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Apayao , Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union,Pangasinan and Aurora.

Light to strong winds coming from the Northeast will prevail over northern Luzon and Aurora province, PAGASA said, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Visayas, PAGASA said, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro will experience fair weather aside from partly cloudy skies.

PAGASA said moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will be experienced in the eastern section of Visayas and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast, on the other hand, will prevail over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, and the rest of Visayas, which will experience slight to moderate seas.

Partly cloudy skies

In Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon and Marinduque, partly cloudy skies will prevail.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will also be experienced there, with moderate to rough seas over Bicol Region and Northern Samar.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast with slight to moderate seas will prevail over Oriental Mindoro, Romblon and Marinduque, PAGASA said.
