Rains to prevail in parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)–Rains are expected in parts of the country as the tail-end of a cold front affects Northern Luzon and the easterlies affect the rest of the country.

The Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains because of the tail-end, while Caraga will have cloudy skies with rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Flash floods during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Ilocos Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
