Isolated thunderstorms to prevail in parts of PHL as easterlies affect country

(Eagle News)—Isolated thunderstorms are expected in parts of the country today, April 6, as the easterlies affect the archipelago.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers are expected in Mindanao, Eastern and Central Visayas, and Bicol Region, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

The weather bureau said flash floods during severe thunderstorms are also possible.

Partly cloudy skies on the other hand will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds and moderate occasionally rough waters will be seen in the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are expected in northern and central Luzon and the rest of the country, PAGASA said.
