(Eagle News)–The camp of Vice President Leni Robredo has asked the Presidential Electoral Tribunal to resolve all pending incidents after the revision and the recount of ballots ordered in connection with former Senator Bongbong Marcos’ electoral protest.
In seeking for the resolution in an eight-page urgent motion, Robredo, through her lawyer Romulo Macalintal, said the result of the revision, recount and re-appreciation of the ballots, which were terminated in March, “clearly confirm the victory of protestee Robredo.
In Camarines Sur, Robredo said based on the provincial certificates of canvas, she garnered 664190 votes, while Marcos received 41219 votes;in Negros Oriental, 255598 while Marcos, 66506; and in Iloilo, 573729 while Marcos, 94411.
Based on the revision, counting the election returns, Robredo had 663097 in Camarines Sur, and Marcos 41216; 255598 in Negros Oriental and Marcos 66506; 573849 in Iloilo and Marcos, 94462, Robredo said.
Based on the physical count, Robredo had 657602 in Camarines Sur, while Marcos 40767; 255576 in Negros Oriental and Marcos 66456; and 562811 in Iloilo, and Marcos 93244.
“This motion is not intended for delay but dictated solely by the foregoing exigencies,” Robredo said.
