3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Thursday, Aug. 1.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 39 kilometers southeast of Baculin at 4:44 a.m.

Depth of focus was 33 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
