(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Biliran on Monday, Aug. 5.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 6 kilometers southeast of Naval at 5:21 a.m.
Depth of focus was six kilometers.
An Intensity III was recorded in Naval, Kawayan, Biliran and Almeria; while an instrumental intensity I was felt in Bogo City in Cebu and in Ormoc.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
